Good descriptive reference book on trees

This is a lovely coffeetable book that will fill you with ideas. I like to chose trees that may be allowed grow and to be beautiful within an appropriate setting. And that means not slashing! This is the only large book I know of that has photos offering those images. It is both comprehensive and descriptive. Best use would be in public libraries... or in the private libraries of real plant geeks like me. Too bulky to carry with you as you shop at nurseries unless you are using a cart. Great combined with Sunset's Western Garden Book. Or with one of Michael Dirr's tree and shrub texts, which are used in college.
